As much as we hate to admit it, it IS possible to get a bad result on an Old Smokey Barbecue Grill. It almost never happens. Our grill is so easy to use that things always turn out great.

But, what if the unlikely should happen? What if things don't turn out great??

As a service to our customer, we have included this recipe. That way, if things turn out bad you can blame us.

"But honey, I was just following the recipe!!"

Make the fire way too hot. Then, pay attention to the distractions that pop up - like being told to run to the store to get some more potato salad or ice. Or maybe your in-laws or the party guests showed up and you went to talk to them instead of staying by the fire where you were supposed to be.

When things like this happen, it's possible that you'll leave the meat on the grill too long, and it will burn up. We're sorry about that, and we'd fix it if we could. Alas, we can't be everywhere. So if you get a less than perfect result on our grill, quickly refer to this recipe, and blame us.
