RECIPES // Get Married Fish

The quickest way to the heart is outdoor grilled seafood
Ingredients

  • fish filets
  • butter
  • lemon
  • sweet onion
  • sweet significant other
  • aluminum foil
Directions

One of our employees says when he made this for his then-girlfriend, she liked it so much they eventually got married. He didn't have many pots and pans in his house, so he improvised one by bending up edges of aluminum foil to form a little pan. (This got him credit for "being creative" and "not having to wash a dish.")

On the foil went some butter, then 2 fish fillets. On top of the fish he put a little more butter, then lemon and sweet onion slices. He then put the foil on the top grill of his Old Smokey Electric Smoker. As they sat outside waiting for dinner to cook (and we think drinking a little white wine, but he won't confess to any) her eyes got a little misty. The rest, they say, is history -- the couple just celebrated a 14-year anniversary.

Heat up Old Smokey Electric Smoker, which will, in turn, heat up significant other. Oragami-fold foil into a pan. Butter in pan. Fish in pan. Ask significant other to marry you. Enjoy.
