Stuffed Onion
4 large brown onions
garlic salt
butter
1 strip bacon
cream of mushroom soup
paprika
parsley flakes
Peel onions and core out a 1 1/2" hole in the center. Put 1/4 tsp. garlic salt in bottom of hole, fill hole with butter, set in loose foil and place 1/4 strip bacon over the hole. Spoon 2 heaping Tbls. of cream of mushroom soup over the bacon and sprinkle with paprika and parsley flakes. Smoke with meat for several hours. Serves 8.
